In this series, we will discuss the events surrounding the Bosnian War of the 1990’s.

Before we get to the war itself, we must first discuss Bosnia’s history before the war. This would include Bosnia’s time as part of the Ottoman Empire, as part of the Austria-Hungary Kingdom, and as part of Yugoslavia.

We will begin with the Ottoman conquest of the Balkans.
