Prophet Yusuf was sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. He eventually winds up in Egypt and is a slave in the Prime Minister’s (Al-Azeez) palace.

Soon, Al-Azeez’ wife, Zulaikah, becomes enamored with Yusuf and tries, unsuccessfully, to seduce him. Unfortunately, her husband walks in while they were wrestling with each other.

Al-Azeez knows Yusuf is guilty, but protocol and a gossip-filled royal household force him imprison Yusuf.

While Yusuf is in prison, Zulaikah undergoes a spiritual change and comes to understand where she went wrong.
